How to be brave

Being brave isn’t about a lack of fear; it’s about moving forward despite it. It’s about recognizing the discomfort, the uncertainty, and the fear and choosing to act anyway. To be brave is to step into the unknown; and to trust that even in the face of challenge, there’s growth on the other side. It’s not the absence of doubt but the courage to move through it with purpose. Bravery often comes when we don’t have to face the fear alone. When others support us, we’re more willing to lean in, take risks, and push past our limits. Being brave means not waiting for the perfect moment but creating it with the knowledge that we are not alone on the journey. It’s about showing up, even when the odds are stacked against us, and believing in our ability—and the strength of those around us—to handle what comes next. Bravery isn’t loud or dramatic—it’s quiet and persistent, showing up in the small decisions we make each day to face fear, lean on others, and move toward what we truly want. So, let’s be brave because it unlocks who we are and all of the possibilities that come from embracing our potential when we lean into it.
