It seems to me that this is a good time of year to make sure that we spend as much time as possible outside. With the seasons changing it is the perfect time to take advantage of this gorgeous time of year, not too hot, beautiful cool evenings, the flora and fauna a palette of vivid colors and the evening sun out long enough to keep us outside and smiling. Being outside brings a sense of mental clarity and exuberance; it awakens the senses and enables us to connect with our basic need to be part of nature. It can be as simple as taking a walk, sitting outside to read a book, going for a run – the activity does not matter – just spending as much time as possible without a roof over our head, with no “fake” air, and no walls to contain us. Give it a try – my bet is you will become addicted and want to be outside more than inside. This is a good thing…..
