Is there any other day in the year that reminds us that we can just have fun? Halloween is a true “day-off” from the trappings of life – a day that we can bring humor and fantasy and theatre together with no judgment – just for fun – that’s all. It is also a day for creativity and camaraderie and we are reminded that we are part of our local community and that most everyone we live near and around are nice people. Think of it we can go to their house and they will give us a gift (candy most likely) and expect nothing in return. It is a great reminder that we live in a good world and that we can have fun and enjoy life. It is a different way for us to think about THPL – through the lens of fun and enjoyment. And so as we move back to a “normal day” it is nice to know that we can drive toward high performance and enjoy life along the way, sometimes having a slice of pizza at the same time. Oh yea, Halloween is the second biggest night for pizza delivery all year (just behind the Super Bowl). So, hope you all had a Happy Halloween and a load of fun along the way
