Road Blocks

There are quite a few times when you overhear a conversation, not intended for you, that gets you to thinking.  Given that you are not an active part of the “situation” you most likely have a slightly dispassionate view, and with a bit of distance, an approach for resolving or addressing the issue.  Much of what we “overhear” or encounter on the THPL journey are a series of “road blocks” that need to be overcome if we are to achieve our goals and find fulfillment.  Most tell me, that getting over a road block is easier said than done, my view is that we need to train ourselves for how to think about road blocks in general and then get to the specific of how to overcome them.

And it starts with switching from our passive systems to our active systems.  This means whenever you feel like a “no” (aka roadblock) is coming you respond with a yes.  Whenever you don’t have the feeling to do something, you start at it slowly and keep at it.  In the instance when you seem to have hit a dead end – ask for help from others.  The bottom line is that there are a lot of way to overcome a road block.  It just takes, will, practice and help.  Road blocks are only another challenge that makes the journey that much more rewarding when completed.  Time to roll them over…..
