On my normal morning content consumption round-up I came across a web site that is designed to tell you what your physical age is – you answer a series of questions and the answer pops up. I am sure that their algorithms have a rather subjective element to them but regardless there is a comparative element to it that gives it enough credibility. And after taking the test it got me to thinking about a conversation that I hear often. It goes something like “you should not do that because of your age. And the advice I give myself and that each of us should take is – don’t listen to them. What instead we need to do is to follow our head and our heart, and go do whatever we are capable of or feel we can do – we cannot let others tell us how to live or what to do. And what is age anyway – a construct that is fabricated to allow us to measure time? Why do we allow it to set our mindset for what is possible? The THPL journey asks of us a lot – it needs us to be open of heart, mind and body and when we do, age is less relevant. I like that, hope you do to – time to break convention - let’s have some fun being “xx” for a very long time. BTW – my age tested out at 20 – thought it would be 30. I feel there is some accuracy as the VO2 max it estimated equaled a VO2 max test I did recently. Hmmm. Very interesting
Loving life, being XX forever…….
