THPL and the journey that we are on does not require a lottery ticket to get on it. Seems that over the past week there has been quite a focus on getting a Powerball lottery ticket. I am sure there are quite a few people buying them for entertainment and at the same time it seems to be odd that we put so much focus on getting a “free ride”; the energy and enthusiasm for winning the lottery and not having to do anything afterwards is disappointing. Yea, it would be great to have more money but it would not be great to get it because we did nothing. We should use our resources, our abilities and our energy to create that which we need to live. We do so much better when we earn what we have rather than win it through the lottery. What would we be able to do if we never had to put any effort into what we have? Is this the kind of life worth aspiring to? Or maybe we should just enjoy our journey, let life come to us as it happens along the way and enjoy leaving much of our life to chance…..the chance that we can affect…..our life, yes indeed
