With a deliberate attempt to change the topic that has dominated much of our thinking for the past 24 hours it comes to mind that the days are getting shorter, getting colder and we run the risk of spending all of our time inside. Not too dissimilar to any of the other activities in our life there is an issue of inertia that we have to fight against. There are factors, it seems, that conspire to keep us from doing what we want to do or know we should do. The weather, or daylight being just an example. So the question to ask ourselves is this a good reason to stop what we like to do, know what we should do? Probably not…..So, when we are met with factors that are not under our control but seem to get in the way then we should figure out how to work around them or through them. So, dress warmer, bring a flashlight, do something active and we will get ourselves outside more than we would have otherwise done. It is a good thing….for sure.
