Super Moon

Every 68 years or so we get to see the moon up close and personal.  Its orbit brings the moon closer to the earth and it is brighter, bigger, and more surreal than usual.  Called the super moon it is a remarkable sight.  And it is at moments like this when we have the opportunity to think about what is common (in our life) in a more “un-common way.  The moon is there every day, dependably, watching over us every night.  Do we take it for granted?  Do we need a night like tonight to get us to pay attention again?  What is it that we have in our life that is in the same category (taken for granted)?  It is important for us to be more explicit about what matters. What can we do to change this, to get closer, to see it in a new light?  It is indeed up to us – let’s go get this and make it an integral part of how we look at what is around us.   It will be rewarding more that we can comment on.

Loving life when I feel the power of the Super Moon
