Whether we are on the THPL journey, or we are just travelling the path of life, it seems that we often have more faith in the potential of others and their prospect for success than we do for ourselves. I suppose we can attribute this faith and hope in humanity but I would rather think about how we bring that same kind of confidence, in others, to ourselves and our lives. It there was anyone who should believe on us – it is us. We have little “good” reason to doubt ourselves and if we can get behind and support others for whom we have no control or no basis for confidence (*think of how much we believe our favorite teams are going to win) then we should have that unbridled level of confidence in ourselves. With this kind of feeling we can create a self-fulfilling prophecy and rise above what we might have done otherwise. Seems to be a good reminder for our everyday THPL life, yes indeed……
