Not that complicated

The goodness of the THPL journey is that we have the opportunity to practice and get better all the time.  We get to see, and be around, others who are really good in their discipline.  And in each of these instances there can sometimes just be too much learning, too much advice (sometimes even conflicting), too many opinions.  All of them see to hold some kind of potential for impact and improvement.  But we all need to be careful that we do not try to over engineer how we go about our tasks.  Whether it be nutrition, or research, practice or intervals, sometimes we just need to de-complicate, make it simpler, do some of what we do by feel and intuition.  We are all good at this, might it just be that we need to make it simpler, less complicated, more straightforward.  Seems to be good advice to self.  High performance is maybe, just not that complicated…

Loving life ….when it gets easier and less complicated
