discipline our emotions

There are some times when we find ourselves on the THPL journey when we know we are not performing at the level that we know we can.  And in this circumstance our issue might just be in our emotions.  They are not where they should be.  We are feeling something that is getting in the way of our performance.  It could be that we are unhappy with the circumstance, we could be affected by exogenous factors, someone could be messing with us, or we can just be distracted.  All of which can let our emotions run wild and when this happens it is hard to perform.  At this moment it is important to recognize what is going on.  We have to stop and take inventory of how we are feeling.  We need to do our best to address our emotions and get control over how we are feeling.  Once we discipline our emotions our performance starts to come back and we be ready to make THPL work, regardless of the circumstance (or emotion).
