THPL, and the focus on Life, Learning and Fitness has many elements that bring it all together. At the foundation of this are the neurons that make up much of the gray matter (our brain) that drive our learning, our life, our fitness. Every day we build and strengthen the neurons with focus, activity, and practice. They weaken when not used and get deeper and better with a lot of use. And we have many kinds of neurons, concentration neurons, sensory neurons, motor neurons, and even compassion neurons. Which gets us to thinking about what we focus on. If we want to get better at something then we need to practice it. Which one we decide on will get better and maybe we can even consider working on our compassion neurons. Might we end up with a different world if we all did this just a bit more……
