It is thought broadly, and accepted by THPL, that being content is a risk to progress. While it feels quite good from time to time, being content creates a lack of action, of growth, of discovery. To seek, is an antidote, it is a state when we are looking for more, moving beyond being content, and with action and purpose. To seek out is to allow our inner explorer to flower and flourish, to set our inner being to a state of movement and usage of our faculties. In so doing, we start on a path that will produce many feelings and experiences and a sense of satisfaction and exhilaration. The seeker rewarded by what we find we take the next step again and again and resist the alternative of being content and complacent.
