There are times along our journey when we are asked to take a moment of silence to remember, to reflect, to pay tribute to something or someone. And this is usually requested when there is a passing or something of significance that we want to show our respect to/for. The good news is that no matter who it is about, what the situation, whether we know the person or not, that the reasons that someone is asking is all we need to take that moment and show our deepest respect for the people involved. It is this kind of “human” empathetic caring that feels quite right and THPL like. For what is Life without all of the great people around us - and what is Life without respect, care, empathy and feelings for each other. We should ask ourselves, though, why not have a moment of silence every day. Why not think about others whom are deserving of our thoughts and prayers. We really owe it to ourselves, and our fellow companions, to deliver on a high level of care and attention for each other and the feeling that together we can make the world a better place. Yes, a moment of silence for all of us….
Loving life when I take a moment of silence
