Yesterday was the day that we celebrate Earth Day. A day that matters to THPL and all of us on a journey, one that relies on the resources of our beautiful planet to live each day. And we are all happy that there is a focus on the Earth on one day a year. It has brought awareness and goodness at levels that we previously would not have imagined. Now it is time to take it to the next level. The real Earth day is every day – we need not a holiday to think about how to treat our planet, our land, our resources, our neighbors. We need every day to be focused on the principles of Earth day. We need to think about how we would personally manage, such a wonderful place if it was ours. I am sure that if we all felt a more personal connection to the earth; that we have reason to protect it as if it was ours, then we could see the catalyst for taking care of the earth that came from Earth Day as a wonderful “fire starter” and we are to keep the “progress” going. Let’s make it simple –let’s take move forward from Earth Day every day and keep it great and grand for years to come. There are few other more impactful actions we can take.
