There are times when even the simplest of issues can become a blocker to high performance. Doing activities repeatedly, for example, can lead to losing that special feeling, that feeling we get when something is new.   Sometimes we can even get to the level of being bored with our routine.  This is not necessarily a bad thing, it is however a situation that we cannot stay in for long.  If we do find ourselves losing interest then we need to push to break the cycle.  Change it up, fall in love with the activity again, do something actively to reinvigorate.  It actually comes back quickly.  It feels good when we do and it reminds us that there is no passive version of the high performance life.
