Return to Singapore

It was just two short months ago that I landed in Singapore to run the second of the six consecutive marathons that I ran during the six-continent challenge.  This THPL journey, wow, does it spin your head around and then some.  Seems hard to imagine that I actually completed such a challenge, and since then I have spent many a moment trying to get my head wrapped around what I did.  So many thoughts swirl around, was it as hard as I expected, did I find what I wanted to, is there a lasting impact, what is next….and so much more.  For sure, I found out, what I went to find out.  That we can all do more than we think we can (it happened every day), that there is humanity at a very deep level around the world, that when you prepare impeccably all is possible.  Maybe, the point of all of it is that there are unique moments in our lives when we can do something of significance, that these moments are our raison d’etre, that we orient ourselves on our THPL journey to make them possible, that is really is up to us if we want to up-level our journey, to get that personal fulfillment topped off.  Here’s to the next challenge and the one after that….

Loving life whenever I think about the six continent challenge
