The THPL journey brings with it moments and opportunities to learn. Some of what we learn is an extension of what we know, some completely new and some surprising. As we start our year it is important to think about how and what we are going to eat. What do we need to know that can make our food profile that much better as we enter the new year? A good reminder of some of the good foods (and not so good foods) to eat are published in what is known as the dirty dozen and the clean fifteen. And while we might react somewhat negatively to the idea that fruits and vegetables might not be great to eat, it is important that when there are heavy pesticide loads then we should consider buying organic. The key to all of this is that having this kind of information is what matters most – we can make informed decisions about what we eat. Nothing better than we can all ask for.
