Climb on

There are many activities that we can participate in while on our THPL journey and there are a few that develop us differently than others.  The ones that are a level better are the activities that develop more than just the disciplines required; there are some where we get a collateral benefit when we do them.  There are some activities that require us to repeat the activity again and again – working on a problem until we “get it”.  Rock climbing is one of them.  We can go out and work on a specific “problem” a route up the rocks that can be more difficult than we can handle on our first attempt (or second or third…) So we go at it again and again, learning along the way the “best” route, learning the rock and getting more and more familiar with what it will take to get it “done”.   There are other disciplines, sports and otherwise that require this kind of repetition and practice.  Once we pick the one we need to practice, we do it again and again and then sooner than later with the right level of effort we will conquer some of the most difficult circumstances that we could and we will overcome being who we are and get it right!.  Nothing better than that……
