We have, by now, seen that many who live in California are suffering and under attack from a series of forest fires. The fires are attacking the land, the homes and the people who live there. In many instances, towns are being obliterated and there is little that can be done to save them. There are many a hero who is coming to the rescue and supporting all who are in need. The firefighters of California must be thanked and appreciated because what they are taking on is extremely dangerous, difficult, and trying. There are times when the level of sacrifice is being made on behalf of each other is noteworthy and beyond words and this is one of them. A big shout out to the men and women who are putting their lives on the line for others – they are the hero’s – that is for sure.
