It just sounds cool to say I am getting down to the nitty gritty. Seems like a fitting statement or declaration on our THPL journey. It is a phrase that has real feeling and yet it is in the definition that we really can embrace its meaning. The Nitty Gritty is “the most important aspects or practical details of a subject or situation”. The quintessence, the heart of the matter. Now we are getting somewhere. Yes, when we get down to the nitty gritty it is a deliberate statement and time in the journey when all comes together. It is a declaration to all and ourselves that we are serious about what we are doing and that we are making the commitment to get it done at the right level. So, let’s think about getting down to the nitty gritty every time we take on a challenge. It is after all what is required to make it happen.
