There are times along the THPL journey when we get to go back to a place, a location, something, that is familiar and brings back great memories and stirs feelings inside us. And as much as we all like to explore that which is new and different, there is part of us that wants that which we know and enjoy and appreciate. So, it is, then, that as I head back to Europe, to Belgium specifically, there is a sense of anticipation for being a return visitor in a beautiful land with amazing people and to appreciate the elements of local culture and tradition. The differences that we see and feel are the reason we need to go places. And the second and third time our familiarity allows us to feel closer and more connected to the local culture, the people and the land in ways that we would not know in any other way.
