What is it about the time that we spend on our THPL journey. For quite some time we embrace it, we live for it, we push for more and we disregard convention and tradition. And then we spend more and more time on our journey and we love it – we live for it – and yet, something starts to change. Maybe in a subtle way but the longer we are on the journey the more we move to the middle. We take fewer risks, we start to go just a bit easier, we decline the big challenges a few times. This is not necessarily bad, we can evolve over our time on the journey and still have the reward and benefit of getting back what we put into it. But before we allow ourselves to settle in we should think about keeping a bit of “carefree” on our journey, embracing a bit closer to the edge to keep that blood flowing and the emotions high. So, let’s think about running in the rain, surfing the big waves, jumping from a plane and embracing carefree. It is why we are on the journey, after all……
