The journey that we take is interesting in that we can do it alone or we can do it with others. Yes, there are sometimes when we are on a mission and we need to get done what we need to get done. Then there are other times when we can share the journey with others. And often we find ourselves looking for people like us – friends who have the same motivation and approach. However, when we hang with “like” people we tend to limit what we learn, what we share and what is possible. We can do better…..what we need to do is to open the aperture so that we can include people outside our circle, people who are different, people who bring something different (and maybe even better) to the table. What matters ultimately is that we include all who want to be included and we work all the time to make sure that we are open to anyone who wants to be part of what we have going on. For sure, we all benefit when we are open to everyone and that we all feel included and valued. It serves us best when we do this….indeed it does.
