Our voices heard

We live to a set of standards, morals, and values and while on our journey we work each and every day to hold true to a better way of living.  We know, however, that it is easy to allow the secular world that we live in to push us to be tolerant of bad behaviors and a general lackadaisical approach to living to these important principals.  So, it is wonderful when we see members of our community push back against bad actors in this world.  As Nike prepared to reopen a renovated building named after embattled track coach Alberto Salazar, at least 400 employees staged a protest of the company's treatment of women. The picket was quiet and orderly. But it marks a watershed moment at Oregon's flagship company, where internal dissent is just about unheard of.  We all have to make our voices heard.  We cannot accept mistreatment of any people, women or men and we need to call to task those who violate the core elements of respect and fairness.  Women cannot and should never be treated poorly by employees of any company, never, full stop.  Let’s start from day one with respect for everyone and bring this world to the next level.  No more of this kind of stuff allowed, ever.  We all appreciate those who protested at Nike, your voice matters and your actions are noticed.  We appreciate you setting the standard for us.   Thank you

Loving life when we start with respect for each other
