Much of our journey is geared around learning, executing, improving and more. It is founded on the notion that it is worth trying to be better. And all of us would agree with this idea. What’s not to agree with? We know the benefits of being better and we know that we like it when we find ourselves improving. Yet, there are times when we might find ourselves questioning is it worth it? So much time and effort, inconvenient at times, lacking immediate feedback, the possibility of failure – there are many reasons that we might legitimately find ourselves challenging the notion that better is better. Lest we allow ourselves to stay in a place of doubt or uncertainty what we need to do is accept that trying to be better is a way of living, not a destination. Better is about embracing life and all that comes with it. It is not about perfect or some phantom measurement. It is about living in a way that gives us the feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction. It is a way of looking at our journey and embracing it for all that it can do for us, which is exactly why it is important to try to be better, yes that is it!
Loving life when I am trying to be better
