Sometimes when we are on our THPL journey we can get so wrapped up in what we are doing that it feels like we are on the journey by ourselves. It is not, in fact totally accurate, we might even have been doing “our thing” with others. And when we think about who it is that we want to spend time with or the community that we want to be part of it is clear that we want that group to be diverse. We want our group to have differences in race, gender, interest, means, geography and so much more. The more the differences the better. We learn from it, we grow from it and we can solve for life is so many ways previously unknown. Here’s to being a true part of what diversity means and making it happen while on our journey.
