It is hard to experience a birthday for a 90-year-old and not feel impacted on many levels. There is the joy felt for person, the respect for all that they have endured, the benefit of the wisdom that they have and the calm that they bring to interactions given their life’s experiences. Today we celebrated my father’s 90th birthday and it was a great and memorable day. Dad is a man who in his life did not seek notoriety nor attention, rather he took time to engage with each of us and he found a way to share and make us feel special all the time. We get our choice for how we are going to live and with a role model like Dad it gets easy to see how we should live, engage and embrace all that we are a part of. Happy Birthday dad…. we are all blessed to know you and to send time with you.
