Practice makes perfect

Many of us have been told or have thought of the adage that “practice makes perfect”.  And while on our journey there are many times when we have an opportunity to do something again and again to improve our performance.  We know that repeating our actions does make us better but are we ready to go to the lengths required to make that which at first glance is very difficult to happen?  To get a bit of a taste of how much it can take to be the best, or to make it look easy, it is worth watching for a few minutes Danny MacAskill ride his bike in a gym and do stunts that are amazing.  To give some measure of his willingness to go at it, again and again, it took him over 700 attempts to “stick” the ride over the pommel horse and not fall – just crazy! Danny is an inspiration, his willingness to stick with it till he got it is exactly what we need to see.  We need to understand that it is going to take a lot of “do-overs” before we get it right.  So, let’s hunker down and get to the task at hand again and again.  It is worth it when the results are a beautiful as what Danny laid down in this video - https://youtu.be/fAEBNEscL0c

Loving life when I do it again and again
