There is no time like the start of a year to remind ourselves of some of the ways to play off our goals and our drive to do better with the corresponding ways to create balance and resilience in ourselves. And since we know, all too well, how to drive towards our goals, the reminders are focused on how we can reset, rebuild and repair, all while being active and vibrant. A few suggestions include:
· Take time to be playful
· Be non-linear
· Spend more time with friends
· Take longer to do something
· Take a nap or rest longer
· Choose something not to do
· Find a way to meditate (or just be introspective)
The list is just a starting point, we can each think about how to create that balance that we all know is so important to our journey, our performance and our path to self-fulfillment. The moments matter let’s make them all count, on both sides of life.
