We have curious traditions in each of our lives and they have an impact on how we live. We adjust and accept, and we make the best of what we live with. There are similar idiosyncratic traditions that we live with at a societal level. Daylight savings time is one of those idiosyncratic moments that happen twice a year. We move our clocks back and forward an hour, we gain an hour we lose an hour, in effect, there is no change but, on the day, that it happens it is a something. And so now that we “fall back” and get an extra hour we now have to think about what we will do with our extra hour. Let’s enjoy the idea that we have more time and not worry that we will give it back in six months…..
Loving life when I get an extra hour
