Get outside...

The more we seek to learn the more we come upon information that is relevant to us.  And since living and learning go so well together, we can benefit immensely from what we learn. A case in point, according to a 2019 Outdoor Foundation study nearly half of the U.S. population does not participate in any outdoor recreation and only 18% got outside at least once a week in 2018.  The result is a lot less hiking, running, riding, tennis, climbs, you name it we are doing it less.  The data is hard to ignore as we all know that movement, being outdoors and being active contribute to a more healthful and fulfilled life.  So, let’s see if we can minimally role model good behavior.  Let’s get outside, often and let’s bring people with us when we do.  This is all under our control and we have every reason to get ourselves moving and outdoors, we will all benefit from this mantra.  Indeed, we will.

Loving life when we are getting outside
