We walk around, every day, with a lot of currency that we can use as frequently and as often as we choose. It can be inspired or perfunctory. We can use it with people who we know or with complete strangers. It matters none the context nor the time. All that matters is that we spend this currency often and with enthusiasm. The currency that we are talking about is the compliment. A compliment is a polite expression of praise or admiration. And they work when we give them out. And in fact the more we give out the better. We all like getting a compliment, they make us feel good and we feel better about ourselves when we hear them. They carry long term benefit as well as we can use them as a source of strength as we traverse our journey and tough times. And for as much as we enjoy getting a compliment it is just as fun to give one. So, let’s use up as many compliments as possible and make this journey as good as it can be.
