It is interesting that the science of the coronavirus is such that it does not perform all that well outside. For sure we can become infected outside, but it is a much lower risk than inside. And this is a good thing as the US Senate passed the Great American Outdoors Act, allocating billions to support outdoor recreation. We will now be able to take better care of our National Parks and we can fund outdoor recreation better than we have been able to do for some time now. A Venn Diagram overlap of sorts – it is good to be outside and we will have outside facilities that we can use and benefit from. There is also this wonderful feeling and sense of freedom that we get when we spend time outside, the weather notwithstanding. Let’s be safe, social distance, wear masks, and do it all outside – we have plenty of space to do it so let’s take advantage of it.
Loving life when I get outside
