Flatten the curve

It seems like a lifetime ago that the pandemic hit, and we reacted in many different ways including a combination of action and attention and fear and worry.  We were aligned and worked mostly together to flatten the curve.  That lifetime felt as if it had played out and we started moving back to a less protected environment and we have found it is too soon to do this.  The virus is with us as strongly as ever and it is not going away especially if we are casual about it.  And it is not ok to just accept that we might get sick and die.  That is just a non-starter.  Our journey is about flourishing, adventure, understanding, learning, performing and so much more – nowhere is there a give-up in our DNA.  It is with this certainty that we need to exercise another certainty.  We take care of ourselves and everyone else with good practices, it is easy, we wear a mask, when we cannot we stay our distance, we wash hands and we practice good hygiene.  It has served others around the world as they are flattening their curve, it now needs to serve us.  It’s time to take the virus for what it is – our enemy – let’s show it we know better and let’s flatten the curve and now is the time.

Loving life when I am working to flatten the curve
