We are in the middle of a time that is not only unsettling and impactful it feels as if it will never end. Days are turning to weeks and weeks to months and will it be a year before we are starting to be beyond the pandemic and the economic collapse?… Well, maybe a bit of perspective can help. What is it that we were doing a year ago? I can remember running in the Leadville 100 trail race a year ago today. It was quite the challenge and at that moment there was no way I could imagine what would be in a year’s time. At that moment all I could do was to put one foot in front of another and push hard to get to the finish line. The finish was crossed, and time went on and life continued. And so, it goes, this life we live, and it will happen again, August 14th, 2021 seems like a lifetime from now, yet it will be here before we know and it will be as different as it was a year ago. Hope springs eternal and what a difference a year will make…..indeed
