One day we will talk about “the times of COVID-19” and we will remember back fondly of how we lived, how we were challenged, what it was like, getting back to normal and so much more. The pandemic lifestyle is a much more contained and constrained life – we stay apart, we travel less, we do different and we adopt new ways. And in and amongst it opportunities to make much of it a good experience. We have had more time to connect with others and we have had more time to think about our friends, our family, our co-workers, the people we don’t know, and the people we want to get to know. And in this lies the opportunity to make the best of our circumstance. We can spend more time, even if some of it is virtual, with the people we want to spend time with. The time with them creating a stronger bond because of our shared experience. Let’s not let this opportunity get away from us – let’s make sure that we take time to connect and engage and appreciate “people” of all characteristics. It will be one of the good things that we talk about when we remember “the times of COVID-19”
Loving life when I am connecting
