Zero always equals zero

While on our journey there are many decisions to make and commitments to stay true too. And we get better and better at doing this over time.  Yet, it is good for us to build in practices and techniques that help us with our commitments.  Herein lies an opportunity.  When we decide that we are going to do something we put the alternative into the zero category.  Because as we know, if what we are doing is zero and we do it zero times it will always be on our side.  So, for example if we are to run a mile every day then we would want zero days when we don’t run.  The same holds true for anything that we want to use to engender change for ourselves.  It starts with us doing something and then making sure we do not do the other thing. Let’s get up early every day for a week – then we want zero days of not getting up early.  It makes sense the more and more we do it and we will feel the benefits of the strategy when we start to improve how the journey is going. Commitments and discipline – the hallmark of people who maximize their time on the planet
