For as much as we do on our journey by ourselves, it seems that we need to consider what else we can get from our activities when we do them with others. It seems intuitive that we should mix it up, do things by ourselves, do them with others, do things by ourselves, and on and on. The variety is great, the feedback loop different, the challenge is up to us. We realize that we get so much more when we stimulate the system differently by having someone with us, for a run, or other activity. We can focus on what we are doing with someone, not just the activity itself. We get a lot of intrinsic benefits when we are active with our friends, and we should focus on this dimension of our lives and what we can become by hanging together and sharing our life stories with each other…running with a friend
