One year ago, on March 13, my plane landed at JFK airport, it was the last time I was on a flight. It is crazy when we think about how much life changed in this past year. What seemed like science fiction came to life and in a not so pretty way. We have lost too many people, too many businesses and families devastated and while there is real hope on the horizon with the vaccine rollout, we still have some time to go and some time to get us all in alignment on how to crush the virus. Given all of the trauma of the last year, it seems ill-put to be too positive about the last year – even if some lives got better. And so, we stand here ready for the next 365 days and the thought – what a difference a year makes. Let’s work to make this next year as great as we can make it and bury the last 365 as a memory not worth repeating.
Loving life when I look forward a year
