Into the wind

It could be that while on our journey we might find from time to time a stiff headwind in our way.  It could be literal when we go for a run or figurative when we find something in the way of what we are trying to accomplish.  The wind pushing against our forward progress giving us that feeling of helplessness.  We put in more effort and it seems not to get the result that we want.  It takes a moment of reflection to embrace what is happening.  The wind is not under our control and it is there whether we want it or not – if we are to keep going, we just have to accept the circumstances and press on.  The battle is real, for sure, however, it is our attitude that will make it just part of the journey rather than something that wins the battle.  It is up to us to keep the right attitude and to rise about the situation (headwind) and be happy for the opportunity to engage. Wind or no wind it is up to us to “bring it” every day and make that extra effort all part of the narrative.  Here’s to the wind may it one day be at our back.…
