We know the feeling, we sit, and we feel tired; we get moving and we feel alive, awake, energized and so much more. It is important for us to think about the balance between being active and not active. The more we are aware, the more we will get ourselves moving. It could be as simple as taking a walk or hike or run but in fact all that matters is that we get ourselves moving. Our system works best when it is being used and we just need to figure out the frequency to get out and be active. As basic as eating and sleeping, moving contributes to our overall wellness. So, the next time we are sitting let’s get up and get moving we will be happy for doing it.
