Outsiders welcome

The longer we go along on our journey the more possible it is that we can get caught up in groupthink.  We get good at what we know, and we like to do it with those who are most like us or have the same interests, or are very good at what we are good at.  This is all well and good and to be expected, the issue, though is that when we do this, we close the circle of who we do things with, and not only do we keep others out we limit what it is that we can learn and do with input from others.  It seems like it presents us with an opportunity to break the pattern and to open up what we do to “outsiders”, who by the way soon become insiders.  When we open up who we include on our journey it seems that things just get better.  We enjoy more what we are doing with a bigger group, adding new members delivers a model for doing it right and a gut check that we all need to do regularly.  Here’s to including all in what we do and, on our journey, it is a better way to roll, that is for sure.

Loving life when I welcome others to join
