There are times while on our journey when we are called on to do something heroic, to help our fellow community members when they are in need. It is hard to predict when the moment would arise but when we are put to the task we spring into action. It could be an injury on a race course, an unintended fall, a shark attack, a car accident. We only think about helping those in need – if we were not to act, if we were to walk away there would be something significantly wrong at so many levels. And at this moment, we have an opportunity to save members of our community who are in harm’s way. It may not be a shark or a car, but it is equally as dangerous - COVID is a killer, and we need to help everyone we know and do not know to avoid this killer. We would not allow a person to enter shark-infested waters and we should not allow anyone to not get a vaccine. It’s time to do what we do for each other innately.
Loving life when I am helping people stay alive
