So much of what we make happen on our journey is of our own doing. When we set a goal, when we build a plan, when we execute and get it done it is because we own it, and we follow through and hold ourselves accountable to our commitments. And this is, as we would like to consider it, our baseline, it is the way that we live and roll. There are some parts of our journey, however, that work outside this framework. They tend to show themselves when we aim to push beyond our normal performance, or we are asked to do something that is out of our comfort zone. It is at these moments that the most important thought and feeling that we need to have is that we believe it can be done. That we will go after it even if it is hard and fundamentally it is our commitment to believe that we can do it…. that is the most important aspect of how we think. So, yes, we do have to believe, and it really does matter that we feel this way.
