If we are to be humble and unassuming as we go along on our journey, does it get in the way of improving and by comparison being better than others? Can we stand out from the crowd and have virtue in all that we do? Is it a false choice? Do we have to be one or the other or can we find harmony in the way we think and live? Might we just stand out in a factual way but not be boastful explicitly? It does seem that we have choices, and we do not have to accept convention as the only way that life can play out. Let’s get after it in ways that do it all, virtue and performance can co-exist and can provide intrinsic and explicit meaning and that is what this journey is all about, yes indeed!
