As the days get shorter (less sunlight) and the weather gets colder we run the risk of becoming more sedentary. More sitting, less moving, more inside, less outside. And while it is understandable that this time of year can indeed be a reason to stay inside, we need to push ourselves to keep moving, to get “fresh air”, to stay active and vibrant. We all do better when we are active and even a short walk, or run, or hike, or bike can make a difference in our lives and on our journey. It’s up to us to make the choice and while we can find it easy to put off being active, we cannot fall prey to inactivity; being active is just too good for us.
Loving life when I walk, run, hike or bike
