Add a bit of fruit

We know that we need the right kind of fuel as we go along on our journey.  For the most part keeping our food plan simple and planned is one of the best ways to get the nutrients and fuel that we need.  Our plan should consider what our activities call for; then we look for the right nutrient balance and then we can add to it where appropriate.  Having some “good for us” treats is also good to plan for.  Fruit or nuts are great to satisfy a craving or two or maybe a protein shake to fill us up.  We can figure out what it is that we like and is fun to have and good for us.  The more we map it out the better our fueling will be.  So, let’s work on getting our fueling right and we will be ready for whatever our journey throws at us.
