For as long as most of us can remember we have known that how we start our day has a big impact on the way our day goes. Yet, there are seemingly many opinions as to how we can start the day and many of us who have established our morning habits are reluctant to change. Interestingly, there is more and more evidence that indicates there are some basics that we should do every day and they seem not to be that hard:
· Start the day after a good night’s sleep
· Step outside and expose ourselves to natural light
· Exercise before the morning gets away from us
· Hydrate (not only coffee)
· Wait to eat for a few hours
· Connect with people who we are close with (not just our work friends)
Nothing too hard, easy to do, big positive impact. Our bodies and our minds will thank us.
