We all know that nature thrives when there is diversity. The interrelationship between plants and species requires differences, complementarity, and even antagonism. When we bring differences to life we flourish. We learn this on the human level as diversity enhances creativity. It encourages the search for novel information using different perspectives which leads to inspired problem-solving. True diversity allows for all to be included and feel valued and listened to. We all have a role to play on the journey and it is incumbent on each of us to recognize and act on the power and magic of a diverse community. Let’s make sure to do what comes to nature so elegantly, in our own lives, and we will all be better for it – a diverse life and community is a better way, that is for sure!
